1971 Honda CB500K0
1971 Honda CB500K0 in Starlight Gold
model summary
On the June 1st 1971 Honda introduced the second member of its four cylinder range. The medium sized bike was immediately hailed by the biking press as the best all rounder of the Honda range and also of its capacity class. It gave its rider a balance of power, weight and agility not possible with its 750cc brother. Styling was more adventurous than the 750, with a bold black panel on the petrol tank and four trumpet shaped mufflers. The bike would remain in the first generation four cylinder range in various body styles and capacities up to the end of all SOHC engines in 1982.
